A Grim Awakening Series By Michelle Gross

Join us in celebrating the RELEASE of Michelle Gross's final chapter of A Grim Awakening Series with Falling for Fear. This is the 4th and final installment of this Paranormal series.
How long does it take to change a person’s life from happy to terrifying? How long was I normal before that part of me was taken away? How long would I live in fear after that? After being attacked by something she can’t explain as a child, Melanie Rose is left with the ability to see ghosts and it haunts her everyday life. It only gets worse the night before her eighteenth birthday. Things that shouldn't be real, start appearing before her. The evil that attacked her as a child is back to finally take her life. Then he appears, a stranger wearing a black leather jacket. All the unanswered questions she’s had, start to unfold around her. She soon realizes it’s only the beginning. Melanie must control her fear before Fear claims her. Recommended for 18+ due to sexual content in the series and situations that might offend some.
Melanie met the monster she feared most and survived—but at a cost.
A life was lost. And one became two.
Now that Killian was no longer Grim Reaper, he was back to being an incubus demon. And if waiting for demons to attack weren’t enough on a girl, being around him while his pheromones were slipping—planting dirty thoughts inside her head—was enough to make anyone question their sanity.
But her dirty mind and trying to stay alive weren’t the only thing she had to worry about. The Vessel had awakened inside her. She needed to figure out what it was and why there was suddenly a voice inside her head.
Soon, Melanie was questioning everything, wondering… all the while spiraling down a path toward Grim and Killian, discovering her own feelings.
Then came the question: What if they were wrong about the Vessel? 18+ for sexual content and situations that might offend some.

Fate was a magical thing, but it could also be a horrid reality if knocked off kilter.
Melanie's life was changed the moment Fear marked her as a child...
Now as Marcus's death approaches, Melanie's fight to save her life and very soul may finally reach its end, but a demon that knows Death is coming for him won't sit back and wait, he'll do whatever it takes.
Nothing's for certain.... Melanie and Killian's future together, Ryan's fate harboring a demon inside of him controlled by Fear, or Melanie's life.
But death is. And Fate knows exactly what it wants to happen.

WARNING 18+ this book takes a much darker tone than the first three books. This warning is here for a reason. This is FEAR's book so you should already know what you're getting yourself into. ENJOY!
This isn't a sweet romance...
This one's about villains and their selfish ways... and how far one will go to get what they want.
It's painful and ugly and wicked.
But maybe the bad ones can be loved after all.
I was his right-hand ghost. Now he’s what I dread.
I was his killer. Now he’s the guilt I carry.
Two completely different beings now stuck in one shared body that’s known as a merge.
My ex-boss, the human boy I killed, and me, the ghost girl who stained her soul to get an adult body.
What could go right?
What could go wrong?
Bad girls like me don’t get happily ever afters… things are going to get ugly so why is he making me want something beautiful?

Tips For Running Your Own Blog Tour

So I set up my own tour blog and FB tour for His Laughing Girl and here are some of the things I learned.

I chose to have a plain “read my brilliant book” post with a rafflecopter that offers a gift and gift card to attract people.

I asked for reviews and recommendations as entries. This is to discourage people who just enter anything with random noise in the hope of snagging free money, and to reward fans.

I got 45 people signed up, and 43 of them have posted. Some posted multiple times!

The results have been excellent. I only had a handful of signups for the newsletter but I’ve had tonnes of posts and recommendations, my sales have spiked, and my KU reads have gone through the roof.

Overall, I’m delighted and I’ll be doing this again.

So here are some of the snags...

Problem #1 Gmail is vicious about deciding what is spam, so even if you’re writing to people you know, sending the same email to a group of friends will result in it going to the spam filter.

Most annoyingly, writing to individuals using the same email text is also likely to end up in the spam filter.

Solution: If you don’t hear back, assume it’s been trashed by the system and write again.

Problem #2 People forget. Also, email goes missing, especially when some systems automatically trash email with attachments.

Solution: don’t do everything in one day. Run the tour over a few days so people have time to catch up and post.

Problem #3 Blogger and Wordpress don’t work the same. So what looks good in one, won’t work so well in the other. And of course, everyone has their own settings, so you need to work with that too.

Solution: You need a post for each to make sure the worst formatting errors are taken care of. Then test on various platforms.

Problem #4 It takes time. Writing to people is easy, and setting up is easy, but visiting everyone to say thanks takes a long time, especially if you’re chasing posts on Facebook pages. This is because Facebook hides posts deliberately.

Solution: Still thinking!

Hope this helps.  By the way, you still have some days to enter!

His Laughing Girl A BBW- Billionaire Romance

by Ellen Whyte
30,000 words
Self Standing and Complete

“To being wicked.” His grey eyes were laughing at me. “Together.”
The pleasant thumping in my knickers became a vigorous pounding. Richard Cummings was gorgeous. I could feel his charm wrapping around me like a warm blanket.
Irresistible, right? I heard myself quip, “Are you Cumming onto me?”
     He bounced right back, “Absolutely.”
Oh well, I told myself. It’s just a flirt fest. I have those all the time, and it hardly ever comes to anything. Because of the curves, probably. Men like me, but after we’ve had a laugh, they go to bed with someone skinny.
This was no different. I’d have a giggle with Richard, enjoy the charm and the good looks, lust after him a little bit, and know it was purely a game. Because tech billionaires with a penchant for A-list models don’t fall for curvy caterers.

Curvy chef Sophie Weston has given up on love. But when she is hired to cater for a very exclusive house party, she falls instantly for handsome tech tycoon Richard Cummings. However, she quickly discovers that Richard has a shady past. Should she trust him or should she walk away before her heart is broken again? A fun uplifting romance with a big beautiful woman and a yummy billionaire.

If you stay with the Lorcan Guard, you will honor your original vow, it is true. But you shall remain forever a shadow of the rose… For as long as she could remember, Sarah had wanted to be a knight. One fated evening, a man with dark eyes appeared at her mother’s modest inn, and told her a story of love, loss, loyalty, honor, and a life of which Sarah had only dreamed. Devastated when the man is condemned to the dungeons by her own father, Sarah was told she would never see him again. She safeguarded his story, and secrets, resigned to them forever being the treasures of her imagination. More than twenty years later, he reappears, offering Sarah an opportunity beyond her wildest dreams. A half-mortal, illegitimate child of a lesser court, Sarah’s struggle only begins with leaving all she has known. Her hope for a better future, amid the prejudice of those who look down upon her tainted blood, is maintained by a blossoming love, and being personally trained by the court’s captains. An unexpected turn of events gives Sarah an opportunity to change her fate—a position of leadership in the Black Rose Guard. But to accept will mean abandoning both the man she has come to love, and her vow to Captain Edward. Loyalty and desire clash in one woman’s quest to find her place in the immortal guard.

AJ Adams & Ellen Whyte Interview Toni Kenyon, author of The Pacific Billionaire Boss

The Pacific Billionaire Boss
By Toni Kenyon
265 pages

Hannah Scott’s bucking the southern small town mindset. She’s not going to settle down and marry a man who spends his days working in the local milk factory and then have a couple of children. She’s come to the big city to stake her claim on freedom and independence.

Robert Redfern is the equivalent of Auckland royalty. He’s been groomed to be the CEO of the family empire all of his life. But when he discovers that part of the requirement to maintain his position is that he take a wife, Robert’s not too happy.
When the curvy and attractive, Hanna Scott crosses his path, Robert seizes the opportunity to strike a bargain with the attractive redhead that will bring them both what they want.

But, what neither of them anticipates is their magnetic attraction to one another. Can the boss and his executive assistant keep their dealings purely professional?

Meet Toni Kenyon!

AJ & Ellen: What tags best describe your genre?
I write billionaire romance and rockstar romance.

AJ & Ellen: When was your first book published?
September 2012 (the 'olden days' of indie publishing!)

AJ & Ellen: How many books have your published overall?
10 Novels and 2 Novellas

AJ & Ellen: What did you love most about this story?
I love that the book is set in my home city of Auckland, New Zealand. Hannah is a lovely young country girl who has come to the city to earn some money so she can save to go overseas. We get to see Auckland through the eyes of a person who has grown up in New Zealand, but in small town New Zealand--which is completely different from the metropolitan city that Auckland has become. Robert is an adorable CEO who has no appreciation of the beauty that surrounds him. It is through looking at his city and his life through Hannah's eyes that he comes to appreciate the real beauty and meaning of life and ultimately love.

AJ & Ellen: What made you choose your genre?
I love the total escapism of billionaire romance. Cinderella was one of my favourite stories as a child. Being swept away by the handsome Prince is every little girl's dream come true--or it was mine anyway!

Over and over again, when I look at the stories that I'm drawn to they always involve an aloof, powerful man and a woman who has come from nothing and worked hard to make someting of herself. Pride & Prejudice anyone?

The same story translates well into rockstar romance. I always say that rockstars are just billionaires with massive ego issues. More often than not, my rockstars are self-made men who think that money, fame and all of the trappings that go with those things are going to help them find happiness--that's never the case.

The more I write, the more I see themes emerging in my work. Strong, aloof men who think that money can solve their problems discover that everything they have worked for means nothing, without a deep and meaningful relationship. The struggle with self and the destruction pride and ego. Women who think that they need to make it on their own discover that falling in love isn't about subjugating themselves to a man, but building a working partnership with someone that they love.

These are some of the recurring themes that I see coming through in my stories.

AJ & Ellen: What's the most challenging thing about writing? How do you cope?
Getting the words on the page is the most challenging part of being a writer for me. I love 'having written'. The actual, at the coal face of digging words out of the word mines and putting them on the page is quite another matter.

I cope by keeping a strict record of the words that I have written each day on a spreadsheet. I reward myself by filling in one coloured square for every two hundred words written in my bullet journal. I love seeing the page filled with colour at the end of the day. I remind myself that if I don't sit down and write my words for the day, then I'm going to have to get in the car, drive down the motorway and work to make someone elses dreams a reality.

I want to make my own dreams a reality--so I sit down and write.

AJ & Ellen: Tell us about your book blurbs. How do you go about it? Give us a tip about writing book blurbs!
The dreaded book blurb!

I saw a post on Facebook recently--the two faces of Gollum, "We has to write the blurb" all wide-eyed and full of hope. Followed by, "We hates writing the blurb" looking evil and mad!
Some days that's how I feel about the blurb. How to distil the essence of a 50-75k work down to three paragraphs and a tag line. It's hard work!

I wait until I have completed the story to write the blurb. Some writers like to write it first, to help them get to know their characters, but I prefer to know my characters and my story before I even attempt the blurb. I like to try and keep it simple by writing three paragraphs.

The first paragraph sets the scene for the story and introduces the heroine. The second paragraph tells us about the hero and his motivation. The third paragraph is used to hook the reader, either by setting out the conflict that is going to be the basis of keeping our lovers apart, or asking the reader a question that only reading the book can answer.

I grew up in Maryland with four siblings, three parents and an endless number of cousins within the vicinity – but it was too cold up North for this thin blooded girl.
